If you weren’t aware, Leicestershire County Show is returning to Market Harborough again this year!
Held on August bank holiday weekend (Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th), the show is one of the most looked forward to events of the year in the area.
2016 was the first year that the show was relaunched in Market Harborough and a staggering 12,000 people attended the event. It’s fair to say that our taxis were kept very busy on the day! Anyway, for 2017 the show is returning as a two-day event so it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.
There will be plenty of entertainment to keep all of the family occupied. The main attraction will be the Broke FMX and Freestyle Motocross, a leading motorcycle display. The show will also welcome back Rockwood dog display and introduce an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast that will take place on Sunday.
Also on show will be the Leicester Tigers’ golden boot competition, Fernie Pony Club Relay and a grand parade to close the show. On top of all this, there will be craft and trade stands.
With so much going on at the show this year, and sunny weather expected, it isn’t one to be missed!
